Memorial Day 2006

Though this may look like a pilot for the upcoming reality show "Toddler Fear Factor" (stand out in extreme heat while smiling, pet rabid raccoons, complete the inflatable obstacle course, etc), it is actually how we spent our Memorial Day this year. After examining a local travel website, we discovered that a small town about an hour south of our house would be the perfect setting for us to enjoy part of our three day weekend and lose a few pounds of extra sweat that we were all carrying. As you can see, the kids had a lot of fun playing on different inflatables. We also enjoyed some shave ice to help cool off and a Ferris wheel that the big kids seemed to love but made daddy kind of scared. Even though the day was warm, we had a lot of fun just getting out and letting the kids remind us how much energy they have.
